THE WHO, WHAT, WHY...
OUR MISSION 🦙
ADVENTURE FOR GOOD
Our mission is simple, to use something we love, adventure, to create something we want, a better world, aka to 'use adventure as a force for good'. Creating damn good, high energy, highly addictive experiences that keeps YOU coming back, and helps US further grow our mission.
We embody this in everything we do; from supporting incredible global charities with each adventure (over £750,000 raised to date!) to working with local people to power economies, managing resource and single-use plastic use, and our commitment to sustainability.
How Do They Work? 💪
CHARITY CHALLENGES
🌍 Sooo, you've read about our mission⬅️and our work with charities, but what does this mean, and how does it work?
🦙 When you sign up for one of our adventures, there are two considerations:
- How much do I want to pay to register?
- How much do I want to fundraise?
💪🏽 Choose from up to 4 registration / fundraising options. You can also opt for a pay-in-full option (no fundraising required).
🌟 Your registration fee helps us confirm numbers and book deposits. A portion of your fundraising target (between 40-50%) is then paid by your charity to cover the final costs of your trip once reached*.
*This is fixed, with your charity keeping 100% of fundraising over the target, with no additional fees, costs or payments made by them to us at any other time!
Our Promise ⛰️
WHY ENDEAVOURS?
In joining us, you're not only taking on an incredible bucket-list adventure (of course!), but becoming part of a global network of changemakers, travel lovers, and individuals who aspire for more from life, the #llamapack 🦙
We host regular events, training days, workshops and socials for all to attend, and hear countless times how previous teammates are now catching up once again or taking on more adventures together!
More than this, we're not just here to treat you as a number... when you join the pack, we are then striving to keep you in it for life. So work our socks off to give you the BEST experience possible.
A FORCE FOR GOOD 🌍
YOUR IMPACT
Each step, every action, and all the efforts our community (people just like you) put into these challenges contribute to changing lives and supporting communities in need.
£750,000 has already been raised for our partner charities and together, we are making the world a better place, one challenge at a time.

CHALLENGE SPECIFIC
How high is the jump?
You will be jumping from up to 13,000ft high!
Do I jump on my own?
No! You will be harnessed to a qualified professional, so do not worry about being alone!
Who will be looking after me on the day?
You will be looked after by accredited and qualified professional skydivers at your chosen skydive centre.
What will the group size be?
Average group sizes vary, but will be between 5 - 24 participants depending on the number of sign ups.
How difficult is the skydive?
The skydive is definitely more of a mental challenge rather than a physical one. However, it is completely possible! It is completely natural to be nervous, but once you complete the challenge, you'll be wanting to do it again!
Is there a weight limit to take part in the skydive?
Yes - The standard weight limit to take part in a tandem skydive is 15 stone (95kg) and these weights must be in proportion to your overall height. The 95kg weight limit includes your clothing and shoes.
You will be weighed on the day of the skydive to ensure that you are 95kg or below.
If you sign up to the challenge and are over the weight limit stated, we will get in touch with you to discuss options.
Can I have a female qualified professional for my tandem skydive?
Unfortunately, there are not many female qualified professionals for tandem skydives across the UK. Therefore, this is not possible currently.
Can I have my phone on me during the skydive?
We strongly advised you leave your phone with the rest of your personal belongings before boarding the plane for your skydive, to minimise the risk of you losing it. However, you ask the skydive instructor on the day to check.
What if it is raining on the day of the jump?
You can never guarantee a jump will take place on the day booked due to weather conditions. Endeavours Adventures will give you the option to call your skydive center early on the day of your jump for an accurate weather check. If the weather is very poor, we will rebook you for a different day of your choice.
Can you breathe whilst skydiving?
Yes you can! Very rarely, a 1st time skydiver will have difficulty catching their breath. And after a few jumps you would give breathing no more thought than you would now!
HEALTH AND SAFETY
Is this challenge safe?
At Endeavours Adventures we place safety at the heart of what we do. Whilst an element of risk always exists within each challenge, we have worked with our partners and implemented our own procedures to minimise risk whilst still ensuring you have an incredible challenge experience!
What happens if my parachute fails to open?
All parachutists wear two parachutes when making a jump. In this tandem jump, the instructor will carry out the reserve drills and use the “spare” if required.
Can I still take on a skydive if I have a medical condition or disability?
The team at Endeavours Adventures want to make sure that anyone can take on the challenges we offer. However, safety is our priority. If you have any known health condition or disability, you must mention this when filling out your sign up form.
If you are signed up and have since been diagnosed with a health condition, you need to email team@endeavoursadventures.com as soon as you can.
Endeavours Adventures also strongly recommend talking to your GP at least 12 weeks before your skydive to discuss any pre-existing medical conditions or disabilities, and how this may impact your experience.
Do I need to bring medication on the day of the skydive?
If you have any medication for any personal health issues, then we recommend you do bring it. However, in general, there are no medications that you need to bring.
Will I be guaranteed to jump on the day I register onto?
Health and safety is an important aspect of our challenges. When you arrive at the skydive centre, you will need to fill out paperwork in relation to your health and will be weighed.
If the qualified professionals review your paperwork and feel that it is not safe for you to do the skydive on that day, you will not jump.
If you have any questions about this, please contact the team at Endeavours Adventures.
TRAINING
How fit do I need to be?
There is no physical training needed for the skydive, as long as you are under the weight limit stated.
You do not need to be in excellent health to do a tandem jump, but certain conditions may affect this, so if you are in any doubt please consult your GP.
If there is a doubt about fitness or where existing medical conditions require the advice of a doctor then British Skydiving medical form 115B must be used. This form, (115B) must be stamped and signed by a doctor and brought to the center on the day of your jump. If you require this form, please contact the team at Endeavours Adventures.
Is there any training required for the skydive?
There is no training required for the skydive. However, you will have a preparation session hosted by the qualified skydivers on the day of the jump, to ensure you know how everything will run.
PREPARATION FOR CHALLENGE
Does Endeavours Adventures provide transport?
Transport is not included in the price. However, we always recommend to car share with other participants on the challenge to the skydive center!
Do I need to pay for insurance?
Registration at the airfield for your jump will require you to apply for a Personal Liability (3rd party insurance) which is included in the cost of the skydive.
If you require Personal Accident insurance cover, you will need to arrange this yourself. Leaflets are available at the center and insurance cover can easily be arranged on the day.
What should I wear on the day?
You will not be issued jumpsuits on the day, so we would recommend wearing warm, comfortable clothing such as a tracksuit or leisure wear. Trainers are considered adequate footwear for a tandem skydive.
Helmets are not compulsory for tandem students as per the guidelines issued by the governing body. You will, however, be required to wear googles which are sanitised after each use and will be provided by the center on the day.
During colder weather we would advise that you bring your own gloves with you to wear during the skydive as gloves are not issued on the day.
What should I bring with me on the day?
There is not a required kit list for our skydives. However, here are some things you may wish to consider bringing with you on the day:
- Cash and debit card - Some skydive centers will have food and drink available, but they take cash only. You may also want to buy a GoPro package if available on the day of the jump.
- Water
- Personal belongings
- Comfortable clothing
Can I bring my GoPro?
No - Unfortunately, GoPro and other video recording devices are banned for tandem skydive students as per the regulations. If you would like to receive a recording and photos of your skydive you can book a professional to jump with you. This can be arranged on the day.
Can my friends and family come to watch?
Yes, your family and friends can come to watch you skydive!
We keep monitoring any COVID-guidelines and updates to ensure that this is possible.
FUNDRAISING AND CHARITY
What is the fundraising target?
The 23-24 fundraising target for our skydive is £450.
Do you offer different fundraising options?
With a variety of options available, you can choose to pay our standard registration and fundraising target, or alter the total amount paid at sign up in order to receive a proportionate change of the total amount you will have to fundraise. No matter the registration fee chosen, each can be split across different payment plans.
2023/24 options available for the Charity Skydive:
- STANDARD - Standard Registration Fee (£75) and Fundraising Target (£450)
- FLEXI 1 - Lower Registration Fee (£25) and Higher Fundraising Target (£595)
- FLEXI 2 - Max Registration Fee (£150) and Low Fundraising Target (£325)
Is the fundraising target compulsory?
Yes! In signing up and paying the registration fee for this challenge, you must also reach your fundraising target to guarantee your place on the challenge.
But fear not! We have an expert team of fundraising guides and support available to help you alongside the incredible support you shall receive directly from the charity.
Can I change my fundraising option?
In most cases, you are able to change your fundraising option for your challenge, provided that it is before your final fundraising deadline.
Your charity representative must approve this change, and you must email your charity rep AND a member of the Endeavours Adventures' team about this before this can be confirmed.
A change in your fundraising option will incur a £25 administration fee.
NOTE: If you are fundraising for Dig Deep, you CANNOT request to lower your fundraising target.
Who will support me during my fundraising?
You will have an immense amount of support through every step of your challenge experience. The team at Endeavours Adventures all have an extensive background in student fundraising and have tip and tricks to give to you.
You will also have a challenge leader who will be your main point of call to voice any fundraising concerns or worries.
Most challenges will have a charity representative, who will lead on supporting your fundraising progress, and will offer different resources and events to help boost your donations. If a challenge does not have a charity representative, the team at Endeavours will lead on fundraising support.
What fundraising support will I be offered?
Endeavours Adventures have a lot to offer you in terms of fundraising support! Once you sign up to your challenge, you will receive a welcome email which will include the different ways the team will support you.
This support will include a monthly fundraising newsletter, monthly fundraising support sessions, an online fundraising resources pack, and regular communication with the Endeavours Adventures’ team.
How much of the money goes directly to the charity?
Charity challenges are usually split 50:50, where 50% of your fundraising goes straight to the charity, and the remaining 50% goes towards the costs of running the challenge. At Endeavours Adventures, we want to go above and beyond and ensure that we are giving as much to the charity as possible.
For our skydive challenges, the split is 51% to the charity, and 49% to the costs of the challenge.
On top of this, 100% of the money that you raise above your fundraising target goes directly to the charity to support the incredible work they do.
Is there a fundraising deadline?
Your fundraising deadline will usually be between 6-8 weeks before your challenge start date, which is dependent on the charity you are fundraising for.
